Coty Professional Beauty holds its first London Business Network Event salonnv March 28, 2018 More than 80 VIP guests gathered in the Wella World Studio London in Trafalgar Square recently to hear ideas on how to grow their business, whilst networking over drinks and canapés. Following an informal drinks reception, guests were welcomed by Coty’s General Manager for UK & Ireland, Andrew Kelsall, and ghd’s Managing Director for the UK & Ireland, Nick Higgins. “Being part of the Coty family makes ghd the perfect partner for any salon business. The knowledge and insight that we are able to share with our customers makes us so much more than simply an electrical supplier – we genuinely understand the challenges our salons face, and believe that it’s our duty to help overcome these challenges. Our London Business Networking event is a prime example of how we can support our salons to truly flourish,” said Nick. Presentations followed by UK & Ireland Commercial Operations Director, Kyle Karim, who shared insightful data into the current hair and beauty market, and how Coty are the ideal partners to grow your salon business. In addition, Jason Forbes, Coty’s Chief Digital and Media Officer delivered an informative session on how the digital world is affecting our businesses and what we can do to help maximise these opportunities. Guest presenters then delivered various mini-seminars on how the innovation and creativity within Coty can enable business growth and success. The informative evening delivered the perfect balance of creative hair, motivational insights and informal networking with likeminded business owners, leaving guests with plenty of ideas to take back to the salon and focus on putting their new ideas into practice. “It was great to see so many of our London salons join us for this very first regional networking event. Wella Professionals is renowned for giving our customers a complete 360 service, and our leading brands within Coty mean that we are exposed to a considerable amount of data and information, which we believe will help our customers build their businesses,” said Andrew Kelsall.
