ghd Says Kiss This, Cancer at Pink Party! salonnv July 12, 2018 ghd celebrated the launch of their limited edition Lulu Guinness #kissthiscancer range with a picture perfect pink party. Over the last 14 years, ghd has raised £10 million for breast cancer charities through their limited edition pink ranges; and for 2018, the campaign has gone bigger and better than ever thanks to a collaboration with British designer, Lulu Guinness. ghd launched their new limited edition #kissthiscancer pink range with Lulu at a star-studded summer party, hosted in the spectacular surroundings of One Belgravia – which had a pink update for the occasion. The picture perfect, uber-Instagrammable venue boasted a ghd styling station, OPI nail bar, protest-themed photobooth and freshly made-before-your-eyes ice cream from Pan-n-Ice. On hand for mini blow-dries and styling at the ghd bar were Samuel Johnson, Tilly Penn from the House of Rush and Grant Williams from Headmasters Soho. Guests could pick from four ghd summer looks; all designed to beat the London heat. Guests including DJ Maya Jama, Ashley James, Montana Brown – and ghd ambassadors Zoe Irwin and Adam Reed – were also treated to pink lemonade and floral-topped cocktails, mini pizzas – and a live linkup to the England vs Croatia World Cup semi-final! However guest of honour on the night was designer Lulu Guinness, who has created a lip print duo of stylers and hairdryer for the ghd x Lulu Guinness collaboration. £10 from the sale of each tool will go to Breast Cancer Now, who are funding essential research into fighting the battle against cancer. A further donation to the cause is being made by ghd, who will give £1 to Breast Cancer Now for every pouting selfie taken and tagged with #kissthiscancerbetween now and October. The party offered plenty of opportunities to pucker up, with a selfie-light-lit photobooth area with hair-themed placards, and countless Instagrammable spots throughout the sprawling party premises. Guests were also spoilt in Lulu’s Corner Shop – a cute pop-up packed with must-have makeup treats, Lulu Guinness goodies – and the opportunity for a closer look at the new ghd range. Football might not have come home on the night, but good hair did – and the #kissthiscancer campaign got off to a powerful start.
