How to get the look: Amber Davies

Love Island may be off our screens but the stars of the show are all over the media right now and we want to know more of what they will do next. When part of the winning couple is a hairdresser, then it’s inevitable that Amber Davies was going to get the best hair treatments available and her man Kem Cetinay suggested visiting Remi Cachet stylist Lucy Duller at LocketsSalon in Hornchruch for a consultation.

An extension wearer already, Amber was recommended to try Remi Cachet as Kem was aware of the brand and hair quality and called upon his old friend Lucy to help create her new look. Previously opting for wefts, her look uses single strand hair extensions for a more natural look creating less tension on her own hair and scalp. As Amber likes to wear her hair up and play with different styles, the single strand application would work better for her.

Having colour matched Amber’s hair perfectly to Remi Cachet’s colour 4, they opted for a full head of 150 Elegance Flat Tip pre-bonded hair extensionsin 24” length. Following the removal of her current weft, and colouring her hair to add more tone and warmth, Lucy cleaned and dried the hair before applying the new extensions. Using heat fusion, Lucy expertly applied the strands before cutting the hair to blend seamlessly with her own hair. The look was finished off with a curly blow dry and set using Bed Head Motor Mouth Cream to hold the curls.

“Finally thank you to the wonderful @lucyduller at @locketssalon for bringing back my brunette locks! Using @remicachet @additional_lengths bonds! Finally feel myself again.”
