Denman announce its Stage Star 2019 finalists

Denman is pleased to announce the four finalists who will compete for the opportunity to be crowned its Stage Star 2019 and win an incredible year of working with the iconic brand.

The growth in the reputation of Stage Star has seen the calibre of entries increase, so the judges had an incredibly tough time deciding the shortlist from applications received from all over the UK and Ireland to the final four.

Out of all the entrants, the four selected finalists showed a combination of creative flair, knowledge, confidence and self-promotion needed by a successful international creative artist.

But now comes the real test… the HJ Live stage at Salon International!

To win Denman Stage Star 2019 the finalists will need to show that they can deliver these attributes live on stage in front of a packed audience.

From noon on Monday, October 7 on the HJ main stage, this year’s finalists will have 30 minutes to educate, inspire and engage with the audience and a judging panel of leading hairdressers.

Salon International patrons will also get to see last year’s winner Amy Senior who will give an insight into his amazing year as the Denman Stage Star winner and show some of the skills that saw her chosen as the 2018 winner.

However, only one of these finalists can become Stage Star 2019 and get to work on photoshoots and live shows with Denman global creative ambassador Paul Stafford and BHA winning photographer Desmond Murray.

After their presentations, the judges will have 10 minutes to decide the winner who will be announced live on stage before being whisked off to the Denman stand to present their look as the official winner.

As well as creating their own collection, working on stage and being mentored by Paul Stafford, the winner will receive an opportunity to attend the HJ British Hairdressing Awards as part of the Denman team, work on product development and much, much more.
