Easiweft founder, Nicola Wood, headed into the Dragon’s Den over summer in search of an investor. Last Sunday’s episode teased an introduction to the next episode set to air this Sunday at 8.30pm. Nicola who is billed as a hairstylist attempting to avoid knotty problems as the Dragons scrutinise her pitch.
The hit BBC Two programme sees entrepreneurs pitching for just 3-minutes for investment in their business.
But, will Easiweft fair better than former hair brand Tangle Teaser?
Of her experience, Nicola said: “I am still on a high from the whole experience. I think I’ve secretly always been an entrepreneur and as a huge fan of the show, right from the early days I really wanted to take Easiweft onto this platform to showcase the product to a wider audience.
“There is a lot of secrecy, and even I don’t know what’s made the cut ahead of the show this weekend. I am really excited to see how it comes across.
“Life is all about learning and I have certainly learned so much since launching the Easiweft. To go from a hairdresser to an entrepreneur is quite a big step to take, but I have managed to take a product to market and I am being taken seriously by some of the top hair extension companies and wholesalers around the world. I am so proud of my achievement and excited to see what the future has in store.”
