Gender-neutral brand Formula Z secures shelf at Bloomingdales


The beauty brand founded by 17-year-old Zach Dishinger has secured a spot of prime retail estate, joining the roster of brands on Bloomingdale’s Pride for All carousel.
Gender-neutral brand Formula Z will be showcasing its newly launched Diamond Lip Glosses, among other products, on the carousel, which was curated by Phillip Picardo, Editor in Chief of OUT Magazine.

“At the heart of Formula Z is a belief that makeup is empowering and a form of self-expression for everyone, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation or race,” says Zach Dishinger, CEO and founder.
“I’m proud to be in company with iconic retailer Bloomingdale’s as we celebrate LGBTQ culture and the progress made in our continued pursuit of equality.”

During Pride Month and year round, Formula Z continues its commitment to supporting LGBTQ youth through the sale of Mission Z, a moisturising, long-wearing, matte lip shade in a soft, neutral mauve colour.

For every Mission Z lipcolor sold, Formula Z donates 50% of the net proceeds to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organisation for LGBTQ young people.
