ghd is delighted to announce that Grant Williams has joined them as regional key account educator for the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Grant joins ghd from Headmasters, where he most recently worked in the Soho salon as a busy stylist.
A former member of the ghd Style Squad, Grant later became a ghd brand warrior—a role which saw him work at events and on education, including their Westfield takeover, Christmas launch at Somerset House Ice rink and Glamour Beauty Festival.
In his new role as regional key account educator for the UK and Republic of Ireland, Grant will now be putting his education experience to good use as he trains salons and stylists in the latest tools, techniques and trends from ghd.
Grant says, “I’m absolutely delighted to join the ghd team, having worked closely alongside them since my time on the Style Squad in 2015/16.
“I learnt so much about the brand and the amazing things that they do while I was on the team, that I’ve been a passionate advocate ever since.
“To now be able to share that insight with other people is a really exciting opportunity, and I hope that my background at Headmasters will help me show how working with ghd can be a great addition to your salon business.”
Lorna Baker, ghd’s education manager for the UK and Republic of Ireland, says, “We’re thrilled that Grant has joined us, and would like to thank Headmasters for developing such a talented and dedicated hairdresser.
“We knew he was something special when he joined the Style Squad in 2015 and he has gone on to push himself, stay informed and take every opportunity given to him.
“We can’t wait for him to start sharing his insight and skills with other hairdressers and salon businesses across the country!”
