An internationally-known barber based in the North East has been selected as a global ambassador for one of the worlds leading brands of scissors.
Sam Wall, who travels the world to create the styles of celebrities and sports stars has been named as one of only eight Project Artistic Members for Mizutani. Globally there are only 40 such ambassadors for the brand Mizutani, which has become one of the leading names in the industry since its foundation in 1921.
Mizutani hand selects each of its Project Artistic Members based on their achievement and reputation in their profession.
Sam, whose international awards include being named as ONESHOT Behind The Chair Men’s International Big Shot Winner 2018 where he was chosen from over 311,000 entries worldwide. He is also a leading educator and mentor to aspiring barbers around the world, and his new ambassador role will see him continuing to inspire the next generation.
The prestigious Mizutani appointment is the latest success for Sam, who is based at Hidden Heights Creative Studio in Gateshead and is also a global ambassador for other brands including electronics giant Panasonic.
Other recent achievements include the international launch of his own product range, ‘Let’s Ave It’ by Mr Sam Wall and the creation of 5:AM, one of the UK’s first barber membership services.
