#THEKNOWLEDGE goes live on social media

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing’s online education platform is coming to you live twice a week during the COVID-19 crisis

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing is bringing its Live Lounge to everyone’s lounge, as #THEKNOWLEDGE goes live twice a week on social media.

The Live Lounge is the Fellowship’s famous interview platform, which pops up at shows and events across the country. During this time of lockdown, the Live Lounge is broadcasting on social media instead, as part of #THEKNOWLEDGE – the Fellowship’s online education platform.

Each Monday and Thursday at 3pm #THEKNOWLEDGE will go live, with topical interviews and expert guidance on navigating new and challenging times.

The first broadcast featured Fellowship President Ken Picton in conversation with Chancellor Ashleigh Hodges, taking questions on Instagram Live and finding out what topics were most in demand.

The second broadcast featured Fellowship Patron of Honour, Events Director and all-round industry icon, Ann Herman being interviewed by Ken about the industry and its current challenges.

Then, Ashleigh was joined by LWPR’s social media expert, Rachael Gibson, to discuss proactive ways to stay engaged and inspired online while salon doors are closed.

The coming weeks will feature expert advice from leading industry names and Fellowship members covering business, inspiration and how to bounce back once the crisis is over.

To be a part of the conversation and view highlights from past interviews, follow the Fellowship for British Hairdressing at @fellowshiphair on Instagram and tune in every Monday and Thursday at 3PM GMT to participate in future chats.
